Our Staff

Mrs Kim Costigan

Hi my name is Kim Costigan and I am the Director and 3 year old group Teacher at Rangeview Pre-School. I have been at Rangeview Pre-School since 2009 after completing a Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood and I continue to enjoy my time here working with the children and their families.

I believe that children are unique, capable, competent and inquisitive individuals full of potential who learn through play. Play provides children with the opportunities to initiate learning through exploration, experimentation, imagination, inquiry and problem solving. As an Educator i enjoy the delightful task of providing experiences and environments that are diverse, and open-ended, that encourage, stimulate and extend children’s natural curiosity, interests, experiments and ideas. it is an amazing job to be able to observe, support and interact with children as they explore, discover and investigate during play and to encourage and guide them in their growth, development and learning.

Our kindergarten community is enthusiastic and supportive and wonderful to be a part of. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Rangeveiw Pre-School, it has been and is, an absolute pleasure to ‘work’ here.

Mrs Annamaria Bingham

Hello my naanna_maria_photo_2014me is Annamaria Bingham and I joined the wonderful team at Rangeview Pre-School in 2013. I am the 4-year-old educator for our Waratah group. I am a qualified kindergarten teacher, completing a Diploma of Teaching (Early Childhood) in 1993 and a Bachelor of Education in 1996. I have been actively involved in the Early Childhood field for more than 20 years, gaining valuable experience in working with children of different ages, their families and communities.

I absolutely love my job and embrace the challenges and wonders of working with young children with enthusiasm and passion. I feel inspired knowing that I have a positive impact on children’s early learning years and development and always strive to be a positive role model for children.

In 2015 I was fortunate enough to be involved in the planning and development of our Bush Kinder Program. We launched our Bush Kinder Program in 2016, working closely with the City of Whitehorse. It has been a wonderful opportunity and experience for the children and staff to connect with nature and outdoor exploration.

Ms Tracy Beckter

Tracy BeckterI was lucky to join the team at Rangeview Pre-School in 2016.

My three children attended the pre-school from 2011-2104 and, throughout this time, I was part of the parent committee. I had no hesitation when the opportunity arose to join this fantastic pre-school as part of the staff.

I completed a Diploma in Education (Early Childhood) in 1990 and since then have done various other studies including a Graduate Certificate in Behaviour Disorders and Emotional Disturbances, Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, and some short courses in nutrition and counselling.

I can’t remember a time when I didn’t want to teach kindergarten – I can remember even in primary school saying it was what I wanted to do. So when I finished high school I went straight to university to begin my early childhood studies.

I had a break from work between 2007 and 2016 – I had my first child, Paige in 2007 and my twins Abby and Taylah in 2009. During this time I enjoyed being at home with the girls and all the fun and challenges that come with three children under three. But, as they grew, we got more involved in the community at playgroup, then pre-school and now school.

Rangeview Pre-School stands out in terms of facilities as well as the fantastic staff, committee and families, who all support each other. The community feel around the place makes it a great place to work.

Mrs Amelia Davies

Hello my name is Amelia Davies. I have been an enthusiastic dedicated member of the Rangeview Pre-School team for the past four years. I work with the belief that all children are unique individuals who have the right to grow with confidence, self-esteem and develop their cognitive skills through play, in a safe welcoming environment. I enjoy getting to know the children and the families that become part of the Rangeview family. I am also an experienced Integration Aide working with special needs children of all challenges and ages in the Primary School sector.

I have twin boys aged 11, enjoy art and craft, skiing, travel and spending quality time with my family and friends.
